# Mint Mechanics

The initial OG collection consists of a maximum of 2,222 avatars which mint on the Polygon blockchain. The assets will be fully compatible with the latest Sandbox specifications.

Gamers wishing to mint their own Cyber Syndicate avatar will not have the option to choose their desired faction. Factions and other traits will be randomized in the avatar generation process during the mint. Future collections of additional avatars may introduce new Cyber City factions into the ecosystem.

Avatar reveals commence immediately after minting. Prospective players should follow Cyber Syndicate’s [social feeds](https://linktr.ee/cybersyndicate) to stay updated on upcoming game launches.
